The Future Kerrs
They’ll both tell you different versions of the same beginning…
Brandon swears they’d crossed paths a dozen times before - and can recount exactly what Gabriella wore on each of those occasions. But for her, the story really begins on the day Brandon now calls The Yellow Dress. He spotted her in a crowd, despite her very intentional effort to hide. Her mom had mentioned him before, and she had firmly declared she’d never date someone from her hometown. But when he cornered her that spring day, something shifted for both of them.
He invited her to lunch. She no-showed. (Unintentionally.) He didn’t flinch - just cooked her dinner the next night instead. That’s where it all began: nightly phone calls that blurred into sunrise, a secret near-elopement with a watermelon ring pop, and a stretch of time fueled by instinct and energy. Those early days moved with their own Night Fever - late, loud, and lit up with momentum.
Somewhere between Brandon teaching Gabi how to ski and her teaching him what doesn’t count as acceptable living room furniture, their love for each other & each others families grew. Love for family was one of the first things they truly shared, and one of the strongest anchors as life began to build - a steady Crescendo of laughter, comfort, and belonging.
Now, home is a place that’s often filled with friends, poolside chats, and two snoring bulldogs. Their days are shaped by warmth, joy, and a feeling that what started in a spark has deepened into something layered and lasting.
Ahead, they’re looking toward the kind of future that blends adventure and intimacy - growing their family, seeing the world, and always holding close the people who’ve shaped their story along the way.
forever & ever, amen.
